Wow! Taylor Swift Is Up For EIGHT Grammy Awards!

If there’s one thing we’ve learned in 2009 it’s that Taylor Swift is no stranger to getting nominated for music awards! As of yesterday, Taylor has been nominated for EIGHT Grammys! When Tay was told about her nominations, she was shocked! “I started freaking out and jumping up and down,” she spilled excitedly to AP, “I honestly never would have predicted this, eight nominations – I’m ecstatic, and blown away and so, so thankful.” Seeing as the Grammy Awards are the HUGEST annual event in music, this is a big deal for Taylor. “To be recognized by the Grammys is the ultimate honor, and all I know is that when I write about this in my journal tonight it will be in all capital letters and underlined four times, and there will be lots of exclamation points in this entry because I never imagined I’d get to write this kind of journal entry.” We’re so HAPPY for you, Taylor! We know you deserve this!
