Selena Gomez has always kept her “Littles” in mind when it comes to her red carpet style – and that includes her makeup. Sel recently debuted an older look to match her more mature music, and she says she’s been nervous to go dark with her lip colors!

“For the longest time, my makeup artist told me that she wanted to do a darker lip on me,” Sel spilled. “She wanted to wait because it is actually something you should do when you’re older.”

We think Selena looking completely amazing in the red lipstick, but we’re really interested in her decision to wait for red. Do you agree with Sel? Okay, we haven’t taken a full inventory of everything in the world people can be good at and checked it against Sel’s skills, but we’re still pretty confident in the statement. She’s a great actress, singer AND dancer. She loves choreographing dance routines with her best friends in her free time. She’s done dances to lots of famous songs, but yesterday, she uploaded a video to one of her own songs, “Come & Get It.”
