 ©(DISNEY CHANNEL/Rick Rowell)

We recently had the chance to catch up with Gabby Douglas during her Radio Disney Take Over! It’s hard to believe the US gymnast is still a teenager. The 17-year-old gold-winning Olympian has already accomplished so much and isn’t stopping any time soon. The pint-sized talent is even guest starring in an episode of Kickin’ It this summer!

Gabby sat down with us and gushed about her second book, fashion, and boys. She even gave exclusive advice to BOP and Tiger Beat readers on reaching their dreams. Check out our Q&A with the extraordinary Gabby Douglas!

Q: So you just released your book “Raising the Bar,” can you tell us about it?

A: Yeah actually this is my second book, “Raising the Bar” and it’s just about what I’ve been doing post-Olympics, fun facts about me, memories from the Olympics, my family at the Olympics and quotes, pictures, thoughts and to just put it in perspective, to put it in my perspective now. People want to know what I’m doing too, so inspirational fan book!

EXCLUSIVE: Q&A With Aaron Sauter!

Actor Aaron Sauter plays 16-year-old Cameron Turner on Nicktoons’ new series, Alien Dawn. The show follows Cameron’s epic journey as he tries to uncover clues from a mysterious comic book drawn by his missing father. Check out this exclusive Q&A with this rising star about his awesome action-packed show (and some other fun facts)!

Q: Tell us about Alien Dawn and your character in your own words.
A: Alien Dawn is a fantastical adventure. That’s really the best way to describe it. It’s the story of normal kids and how they deal with all sorts of crazy shenanigans – fighting aliens, secret conspiracies and corporate intrigue. Cameron is, in a sense, the classic hero. He’s all about action. Figuring out the next step and taking it decisively. What I love about the show though is that he’s not a lone hero. Without his friends, he wouldn’t be able to make it through these ordeals. And I think in the end, those friendships are really what the show is about.

Q: How are you most like and least like your character?
A: Well, obviously I haven’t seen as many aliens as Cameron. (laughs) No but really, Cameron is like an onion – full of layers. You know? But I am more like… a pomegranate – full of seeds. You know? Like I’m all red and crunchy on the outside, but my seeds are sour and delicious as a snack.

Q: Tell us about your craziest fan encounter!
A: I’ve actually never had one. I hope when it happens though there will be candy involved.

Q: Are you on Twitter? If so, how can fans get your attention when tweeting you?
A: Yes, I am on twitter. @aaronsauter7. I always love to hear feedback about the show. Good stuff is preferred, but constructive criticism is also welcome!

Q: If you weren’t in the entertainment industry, what would you want to be?
A: Probably that guy in the circus who fights lions with a hula hoop. Also I like photography and I draw a lot. I would keep doing that. I don’t think I could last at any job without some kind of artistic expression.

Q: Have you ever had to deal with cyber bullying? How did you handle it and what advice do you have for teens who deal with it?
A: Personally, the only bully I ever had to deal with was in real life. One day I was nice to him and he taught me how to make paper airplanes. After that he left me alone. For anyone who is dealing with a cyber-bully, I would say your best bet is to just log off. Social media should be fun and it’s not worth it to engage with someone that’s trying to ruin it for everyone.

Q: Who is your current celeb crush?
A: Ever since Star Wars Episode 1, I’ve had a huge crush on Natalie Portman. She’s so talented, it’s kind of ridiculous.
