EXCLUSIVE: Drew Seeley Talks Lovestruck: The Musical

The new ABC Family Original movie, Lovestruck: The Musical premieres TONIGHT at 8p.m. ET/PT. We’re so excited about the movie, which involves a pretty, well, complicated love story. What do we mean by complicated? There’s a daughter who is getting married, a mom who doesn’t quite approve and a little bit of magic that makes both mom and dad reverse-age 30 years to learn some valuable life lessons. Savannah Outen’s New Song PLUS Drew Seely’s “Fly” Music Video!

20-year-old singer Savannah Outen is set to release the music video for her new song “Brave & True” on April 16!

Savannah has partnered with Music is Medicine, a nonprofit organization founded by a group of Princeton university students. Music is Medicine introduced the Donate A Song program, which works with celebrity artists to record songs for children with cancer and other diseases.

Savannah recently flew to Baltimore, Md. to meet 16-years-old Bo Oliver, who’s already fighting cancer. During their visit, Savannah revealed a song that she wrote for Bo called “Brave & True.” Our hearts are melting!

The official song and video will be released on April 16 and we are so excited to hear it, even though we’ll have to be totally prepared to shed a few tears!

Drew Seeley Writes a Song for a Fan with Cancer

When Drew Seeley skyped with 14-year-old fan Brooke Shockley, who suffers from osteosarcoma bone cancer, he was inspired to write a song about her. He was the first star to work with the Music is Medicine program, which encourages celebs to write and record songs for fans who are seriously ill. All of the profits from Drew’s song, “Fly,” will go to benefit cancer research. Check out the video below.

Another Cinderella Story‘s Drew Seeley Hits a High Note!

Drew Seeley is best known for his lead role as super dreamy celebrity Joey Parker in 2008′s Another Cinderella Story (alongside none other than Miss Selena Gomez). Since then though, Drew has been working hard on his own solo music – and has continued acting and dancing, of course!

My Day With Drew Seeley!

Drew Seeley took over Radio Disney yesterday and I was invited to come to the studio and hang out with him! He was there to promote the movie Another Cinderella Story, which will be airing on ABC Family Channel this Sunday, January 18th, at 8:00pm. The movie also stars Selena Gomez and Drew had nothing but good things to say about her. “She’s really, really down to earth and talented,” he said, “her family’s wonderful, and I gotta say I’m really impressed.” It must be really nice when you get along with your costars so well!

Drew even gave a live performance of one of the songs off the movie’s soundtrack called, “New Classic.” Of COURSE, I got it on video so you can watch a highlight of it RIGHT now! See…
