We’re pretty sure Demi Lovato doesn’t need to do much promoting for her latest album (it’s at #2 on iTunes!), but it was still hilarious to see her recent idea for an advertising campaign.
Demi cruised down the streets of NYC, blasting “Made in the USA” and yelling out the windows for strangers to “go get DEMI on iTunes!” LOL! And it looks like it worked, because Demi’s mom later tweeted, “Self-promotion is the BEST promotion.”
Wow, can you imagine if Demi herself drove by and asked you to buy her album? Too cool!
What would YOUR reaction be if you were one of the random people she passed by? Are you planning on picking up a copy of DEMI? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter!
Good news Jepsies: there’s a new Carly Rae single, just in time for summer!
The track, “Take A Picture,” was recorded for a Coca-Cola campaign that let fans “write” the song by voting for their favorite lyrics. Well, Carly performed the final product on American Idol last night – and she rocked!
Check out the performance above! “Take A Picture” is definitely an upbeat, bright dance-y song that will have you singing along. And how fun is Carly’s outfit?

If you love spooky movies and your iPod, iPhone or iPad, we think you’ll find this news extremely cool. We did! See, horror movie producer Neal Edelstein (he did The Ring and Mulholland Drive) came to our offices last week to give us a sneak peek at his new movie, Haunting Melissa. It’s about a teenage girl who thinks she’s being haunted by her deceased mom. SCARY! See for yourself:
The movie was made as an app especially for young people, which is extra awesome. It comes out in chapters (the app and first chapter are free, after that it’s 99 cents a chapter). And, get this, each time you watch a chapter, something different may happen. Saw a ghost in a corner the first time? Oh, well, it might not be there the second time. It’s kind of like you are living in the scary movie for real. Spooooookyyyyy!
We want to know how you like the app movie, and we’re giving you a chance to win both an iPad mini and a pair of Soul by Ludacris Headphones ($150). Believe us, these headphones are the best you’ve ever listened to! To enter to WIN, you need to download the app, watch the first chapter and comment below with the answer to this trivia question: What is the first room Melissa and Holly go into when they try and find a ghost in the house? And don’t forget to tell us if you like this app/movie concept. The contest deadline is Monday, May 27, at midnight.
From what we’re hearing from Big Time Rush so far, this upcoming album is going to be loads of fun.
Their latest track, “24/seven”, is no exception! The official version will premiere on tonight’s episode of BTR. Some lyrics include: “All day, everyday is a holiday, we’re alright 24/seven.” Hm, sounds like a perfect anthem for the upcoming summer break!
Give the song a listen above – it’s so catchy that we guarantee you’ll be dancing around your room until the show airs!
