well, the way i study and i always get an A on my test is makin flashcards. flashcards will help you remember the definition and the word plus you can draw a picture or write a sentence that gets stuck in your brain all throughout the test. And if this doesnt help you, nathan, well i do have another special way to study but i really dont want anyone else besides you know about it. so you can email me and i’ll tell you what i do to pass my tests.

- rachel on June 10 2010:I’ve got a theory for you. Well, sometimes for me studying can be very time-consuming. I do study alot, and one of the ways that keeps me from falling asleep, or getting distracted…I isten to my own music when studying it really helps me. If i can’t get this one subject, or trying to hard, I’ll take a break and just write or do something else then come back to it. So based on your environment, do the things that will help you focus more. I’ve actually written a song about one of subjects, like one time I was doing my english homework. It was so boring, but when I read what I had to read, I started coming up with some song that really helped me, just my own sing-along thing LOL. So when you study try to find something in common with the stuff you’re working on…even though it might not be as significant. And look back at notes, they really help. Hopefully this helps a little…:)

I say you should get together with at least one of your friends( for example Miranda Cosgrove she needs help too ) and make a game out of it. Play memory or go fish or any of your favorite card games that might work. Good luck!

- kassandra on March 3 2010:For me, I write stuff down and make notes, so I don’t actually feel like I’m studying but I never really use the notes, because I remember. My brother listens to music and my friend bounces a ball while my other friend has her friend or parent read her work for her. Try everything with a group of people you like
- lizzy on March 1 2010:What I do is I listen to really pumping music. I even sometimes dance with the music as long as I’m still reading. Sometimes I do some exercises before studying. Hope this helps!

I ask my parents to help me study so if I get distrcated they’ll just kick me out of it. I also make up songs and rymes. I also try making up a little fun game so that i won’t get bored and i rather stay focused and playing.

- Jillana on February 20 2010:How are you? My dad tell’s me to put on piano music softly or any kind of music softly but, I prefer piano music. While you study the music will be playing and it will gradually get lower and you will get into studying. This study technique works well for me! Maybe it will help you, I hope it does. Education, is one of the most important thing in a childs life, that is why we must maintain all passing grades. I don’t accept anything lower than a B. I will get angry and that makes me want to study harder, so I won’t out all this stress into my body. That also makes me study. Whats your favorite subject, Nathan? My favorite subject is Language Arts… My teacher tell’s me I am a walking dictionary and I should look into Journalism. Isn’t that great?
Try a fake jeopardy game! What I do mostly, though is study last minute (meaning the night before the test!). First, I study one part- like if the test was about the explorers, I study one of them first. I do cover say check, which is when you study something, cover up the info, then say it, then see if u are right. Its very effective if you write a short little ryme, too.

I have the same problem…I can never stay focus. So what I do is rotate the subjects I have to study so I dont get bored or I just ask someone if they could help me so that I can stay focused…It works a lot and I am done very quickly.

Just Listen to the Teacher, try to Exercise your mind once in a while by trying to relate anythinq to your studies. It doesn’t Matter if you study (you would probably forget it anyway, so).Just forcus your mind while the teacher is discussing.

And you know when the song is over, you have to either go back to the page, and change the song or turn the song on again, but what i do is i dont go back to the page. i just study in the quitness for a half hour, then turn it back on. hope this helps!! love ya!
i hate studying but im extremely concious about my grades so i do the best i can.. heres what i do..
- Mrs. Bieber!!!! on February 4 2010:first i try to read one problem and memorize it and then i take a seperate sheet of paper and write down what it said 3-4 times! that way i get a good picture of what im learning.
Another way to study for me is to make a game or song out of what im learning to make it more fun!!
Also, i make note cards.. i do it in a memory game type of way. i write down the vocabulary word or fact, etc and take another card and write the answer.. then, i mix up the words or facts all over and mix up the answers all over in a different spot.. then i pick one up and the other to see if they match, trying to memorize the answers.. i hate studying but there are some fun ways to make it easier for u!!!

i use brightly colered everything from pencils to book covers to paper and binder all the bright colors keep me awake try that. read zboss on every blog!

- rose c on February 4 2010:i hate studying too but what i would do is take some notes and if your teacher gives you an assignment(s) you can take those home and study them for maybe 15-30 minutes and then take a break and get a snack then do the same thing over until you think you got it down or maybe you could make up a little song to help you remember…… i wouldn’t listen to music if i were you because it distracts me and plus don’t have things around that distract you unless you need it for homework

- amy on February 3 2010:You can use a regular game board (maybe Candyland?) and use flash cards with answers to questions or definitions of words on it, so when you land on a space that requires you to get a card you can use the flash card. All you need is the dice and the game pieces so you know who you are!
I daydream also! What i do is i either study with a friend or take a break for a few minutes. or i either maybe study during free time somewhere besides where you usaly study so it’s more interesting so it will fresh your mind so you can focus instead of maybe staring at a wall everytime you study.

If you start to daydream, that means you’ve been studying too long!!! Take a break, have a snack then go back. Maybe study for 10 minutes, take a break, study 10 minutes, take a break, etc!!!

I take my studying time at small intervals, so as not to confuse myself or cram my brain with too much information all at once. Take regular breaks and keep calm and try not to panic. Hi Nathan! I zone out when i study too but i try listening to my i- pod or any kind of music player. Another thing you could do is just get it over with. the faster you do it the faster it will be done. Also you could try to make what youre studying fun if its animals maybe you could write down ” The Chamelion blends in with anything!” just try to make studying more fun!

- Kyla on February 2 2010:If it’s hard studying already maybe music isn’t a good idea becuase if you like the song or something you may focus on the song instead of focusing on homework. Like once I accidentaly wrote down lyrics to a song instead of answers. Whoops! Otherwise you could invite a few friends over to your house and have a study party. Taking notes in class helps also. Practice the notes later like a script or story. For some tests I make up a song to help me remember. Ask questions from teachers,friends,and of course us! Hope this gave you some ideas.

- Linnea McG on February 1 2010:hey what i do is take notes in school next at home or in school when you have a free time you create a study sheet with everything that you need to study then you go home to a quiet room get your study sheet out and read it and read it like if you are learning a scirpt expect its for a test.another way you can study is if you like music create a song of all the things you need to study and learn the song and sing it in your head while you are answering a question.you can also make index cards or buy some and read them before school and after school.or you take one of you icarly cast mates and give them questions to ask you then answer and the ones you get wrong study them at home. good luck and i hope my adivce helps you i also hate studying and i learned fun ways to study in a book.i really like icarly and i dont want to hear that my favorite icarly castmates is failing.

- steph on February 1 2010:I only every really need to study history, everything else just sticks with me, but what I do is turn off my Internet for an hour, open up Word and type my notes. Before I do that, I usually also take past assignments that will be on the test or quiz and highlight key words in the questions and answers to make up mnemonic devices. It seems to work, I have gotten A’s on all my history tests this year, I must be doing something right…speak of which I have a big history test tomorrow! Time to study

if u study like a language, try to get a song where u can connect the different words to a melody or some other words it helps me 
and for the concentration thing, just think that its just for this test, and then u wont propably need it in a while

- Justinbieberlover on February 1 2010:You should do like a trivia game with your friends. My teachers do that in school, it makes the subject alot more fun & easier to remember. I hate studying too Nathan, but this really works for me & I actually pass the test/quix/exam. It’s fun, give it try.
