This weekend all your favorite celebs came out to support fellow entertainers Miranda Cosgrove, Keke Palmer, Jesse McCartney AnnaLynne McCord and Corbin Bleu as they were honored for their volunteer work at Variety’s Power of Youth event in Hollywood. Stars like Jennifer Stone, Tiffany Thornton, Boo Boo Stewart and David Henrie had a blast eating Sprinkle’s cupcakes, pizza and Mexican food while they met with fans on the Paramount movie studio’s New York back lot. Wizards of Waverly Place star Jake T. Austin was especially excited to be at the event because he had some HUGE news. He’s getting ready to make his OWN movie! “I’m having my screenplay published! He shared excitedly, “We start filming it in March. It deals with growing up in the suburbs. I did a lot of research for the script and it was hard to balance school, sports and writing.” Wow! That DOES sound like a lot to balance. All in all, we had a GREAT time hanging out with Jake and everyone else at the Power of Youth event!
