Ashley Benson Talks “Boyfriend” Parody Video

Pretty Little Liars actress Ashley Benson took a lot of heat for one of her videos–yikes! Ash and James Franco made a parody of the official music video for Justin Bieber‘s “Boyfriend.” Seeing as Ash and Selena Gomez are so close now, fans were wondering what Sel thought of Ashley’s video.

“I haven’t heard from Selena!,” Ashley told Seventeen in an interview for the April issue. “People thought that I was being mean, but I was just doing what the girl did in the video. It wasn’t a jab at her.”

Good thing Ash had the chance to clear that up! Especially since some of JB’s fans were unhappy with the parody video.

“Justin is like my little brother,” Ash said, referencing the fact that she is definitely BFF with Sel now. Looks like Ashley is still a huge fan of Justin!

What do YOU think of Ashley’s decision to make a parody video? Did the PLL star take things too far, or was she just having fun? Sound off in the comments and on Twitter!

Well, Ash and Selena r still buds, and Ash is still a big fan of Justin…So….
I think it was alright for her to make the parody, even though it caused a bit of drama. Fans overreacted, that’s all.
