Taylor Swift is famous for a lot of great things, like her catchy music and cute kitten. But she’s also famous for a few less great things (her rocky dating history comes to mind). One of the things people have always playfully teased Tay about though, is her famous “surprised” face when she wins an award. You know the one:

Since Taylor wins SO many awards, a lot of people find it hard to believe that she’s still really that shocked when her name is called. Well, at the Golden Globes Sunday night, Tay’s name wasn’t called and all eyes were on her as Adele made her acceptance speech for best song (she won for “Skyfall” from the new James Bond movie; Taylor was nominated for “Safe & Sound” from The Hunger Games). And, well, Tay’s critics are saying she looked a little sour (see the GIF above).

You know how your parents say “If you don’t win, act happy and congratulate the winner”? Well, Taylor may have congratulated Adele, but inside she just felt a little bit sad. The paparazzi always makes one small thing about a celeb turn into this big news article, and I honestly think that it needs to stop. Celebs are just like us.
