Selena: I Prefer Acoustic Shows!

Selena made a big splash with her performance at the 2013 UNICEF Annual Acoustic Charity Concert, especially with her covers of breakup anthems like “Cry Me a River” by Justin Timblerlake and “I Knew You Were Trouble” by her BFF Taylor Swift. Beyond her song choice though, we can’t help but notice how great Selena sounded. It’s like even her singing just keeps getting better. Is it even possible for her to stop being more awesome by the day? Turns out, Selena loves the acoustic setting – which might explain why she absolutely thrived in it!

“There’s something about doing an acoustic show,” she told Fuse at the concert. “There’s something about connecting with the audience and it’s more personal. So I’m just thinking from an audience point of view, I would much rather be able to talk to them as opposed to just me being in a sparkly dress. It’s more intimate.”

What do you think of Sel’s acoustic performances (we have video of her acoustic version of “Bang Bang Bang” above!)? Do you think she should do an all-acoustic album like Justin? Sound off in the comments and on Twitter!
