Now that Jelena is over, Selena Gomez is spending quality time catching up with her two of her friends, Taylor Swift and Vanessa Hudgens.
The pop star told People that it’s nice to have older friends who have gone through similar situations. Selena adds that sometimes, they even go through life experiences together–and this is definitely true! Selena is going through a heartbreak at the same time Tay is, after her split from One Direction‘s Harry Styles.
Sel says it’s nice to have friends like Vanessa and Taylor because she can pick up the phone, chat with them, and they know exactly what she’s going through.
“It’s nice just to be able to pick up the phone and be like, ‘Ugh, I had this person say this and it’s annoying,’ and have someone understand and really get what you’re going through. I think that’s [our] main connection. I just enjoy having people in the business in my life because it helps.”
