We already knew that Selena Gomez was a total sweetheart, but the super-celeb just gets kinder and more awesome every day! Sel is big on charity work, and her latest act of heart-melting kindness was when she visited a sick fan.
Selena paid a visit to 10-year-old Frehley Gilmore, a big Selena fan who’s also battling cancer. Frehley participated in the Make-A-Wish foundation, and her Wish was to meet Selena! Frehley and her mom were flown to NYC and totally surprised when Selena came to meet them.
As if that isn’t aww-inspiring enough, Sel admitted that this kind of work is one of her favorite parts of her job!
“It’s probably one of my favorite things that I do for my job,” Selena said. “It makes me happy to come out and do this. I feel like I’m not doing enough.”
Sel’s definitely one of the busiest girls in Hollywood, but we think she does amazing work with charities. After all, Glamour magazine named her one of their Women of the Year for a reason!
