A huge congrats is in order for One Direction, because they got a super awesome honor from Billboard magazine – Top New Artist of 2012!
Of course, we’re not surprised that the music mag gave the British cuties the title, since we’ve been well aware of their awesomeness for quite a while now. Even so, it’s super great to see the boys on the cover of the mag and to see them celebrate how far they’ve come since their X Factor days.
At least one member of 1D is giving credit for most of the band’s success to their amazing fans.
“It’s been incredible, but I think it’s a credit to the power of our fans more than anything,” Liam said. “They’re an amazing force. We can’t believe, number one, that we played at Madison Square Garden the other night and that we accomplished something like that.”
WE can’t believe that the boys can still be so sweet and level-headed after such mega success! The One Direction infection won’t be cured anytime soon, either, because the boys are gearing up for their Take Me Home world tour.

If you guys knew me then you wouldn’t think that. I love your music and I think Harry’s hot but, I’m not like those other girls I’m pritty calm I guess.
