Which of Tay’s Exes Says “Never” is NOT about Him?

At this point, Taylor Swift can’t release a song (and especially not a breakup song) and NOT have the world wondering who it’s about. Tay was pretty tight-lipped about who her new single, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” is about, but there are enough hints in the song that fans have already started guessing. One of Taylor’s famous exes has spoken out and confirmed that he is NOT the subject of the song. The guy who talked: Joe Jonas.

We can’t exactly blame Joe for jumping at the chance to clear the air – Tay did famously pen “Forever & Always” and “Last Kiss” about their breakup, after all. But Joe told People he’s sure that he’s not the subject of THIS one because he and Tay never did the whole break up/make up thing.

“I don’t think we’ve ever tried [to get back together] another time, so I can tell you it’s not about me,” Joe in a radio interview today. “That said, I think the song is great. Taylor does pop music really well and I’m happy for her.”
