Yesterday, the biggest names in Britain and beyond turned out for the BRIT Awards. The show, which honors the year’s best in British music (kind of like the Grammys in America), attracted huge stars from around the globe, including some of our favorite American stars! Our eyes were on the fashion, of course (and no, we’re not just talking about the ever-stylish One Direction) and it looks like black was the color of the night. Of course that didn’t stop some style risk-takers (like Rihanna) from stepping out in bolder hues. Check out our full fashion breakdown below!

Victoria Justice hit the carpet at the BRIT Awards in this black mini with long sleeves. Vic owned the color of the night, wearing black from head-to-toe, except for a pop of red lipstick. We would have loved to have seen some more colorful accessories and we prefer when Victoria wears her hair down, but we can’t help but love her every time she’s on the carpet!

Pixie Lott also opted for a black ensemble with a pop of red. Her floor-length black grown managed to be elegant and edgy at the same time and her red clutch added a much needed splash of color to the look.

Rihanna went bold, as usual, in a standout gold dress with long gloves. Rihanna always looks like a total rock star and the BRIT Awards was no exception! We wouldn’t love this look on most people, but Ri can pull off just about anything!

Adele was stunningly classy as always, making the signature color of the night look amazing. She opted to wear a pair of eye-catching earrings and go easy on the rest of her accessories – we love the decision. She looks perfectly put together.
