We’ve been waiting for months for Monte Carlo to come out, and today is the big day! In honor of the movie, we’re spilling some fun facts about the lovely Selena Gomez, who stars in the flick.

1. We all know that Selena recently met one of her biggest crushes, Shia LaBeouf, but did you know she also had a thing for Zac Efron? Selena, however, is a loyal friend. When asked about her Zac crush (at the time, he and Vanessa Hudgens were still together), Sel spilled, “No, I wouldn’t touch that. I love Vanessa way too much!”
2. She was named after the late Mexican-American singer, Selena Quintanilla-Pérez. “I feel very honored to carry her name,” Selena says.
3. Sel has four dogs! Their names are Chip, Willy, Fina and Wallace. She adopted Chip from an animal shelter.
4. One of her role models and favorite actresses ever is Rachel McAdams, who stars in Mean Girls and The Notebook.
5. What’s one song that Selena just can’t get out of her head? “Friday” by Rebecca Black! Selena dishes, “I love it! Total guilty pleasure! I totally admire her.”
