The oldest of five (and the only boy), Louis was interested in music from an early age and starred in lot of school plays in his hometown of Doncaster, England, even playing Danny in a production of Grease. Determined to make it in music, Louis had been uploading vids of himself to YouTube before he went for his “X Factor” audition, where he performed the track “Hey There Delilah”. He was the only member of the band to have a girlfriend during the show, and admits that it was tough. Louis and Hannah dated for 18 months, but eventually broke up. An animal lover, he spent some of his first 1D paycheck on adopting a chimpanzee called Larry. Louis is also the oldest member of 1D, and he’s banned the rest of the members of the band from ever dating any of his sisters!
